Director’s Message

“Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching…”

In this age of digital supremacy, the education system is facing the dual challenge of equipping students with new skills to stay competitive in a global market, and empowering them to grow as responsible individuals with a sound value system — so that they become good citizens both of their country and of the world.

Here at R.S. Model Sr. Sec. School, education is more than schooling and acquiring knowledge. Our distinctive academic programmes and innovative teaching methodologies connect the students to real-life experiences, thereby enabling them to become critical thinkers, creative problem-solvers and inspired lifelong learners.

Connecting children to real-life experiences practically helps them to unpack the dry knowledge of textbooks and learn to handle the complex puzzle called life. It also helps them to handle all the challenges that life throws at them, and they become proactive agents of transformation among the global community.

An education that competes globally but is anchored, first and last, in values.

Principal’s Message

A proud privilege

It is a proud privilege for me to be the Principal of R.S. (Rashtriya Sanskrit) Model Sen. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar, Ludhiana, which was established in 1951 with the aim of promoting Sanskrit, the language of Vedic wisdom, in order to inculcate Vedic values among our students.

We are fortunate to have a strong and dedicated management team which, with its visionary guidance, commitment to educational excellence and dedication to students’ development, is leading our school towards a future filled with endless possibilities.

We have a team of fabulous faculty members who display boundless energy and intense commitment, which keeps the ethos of our society shining brightly and produces brilliant students excelling in various fields such as judiciary, administration, medical, engineering and many more. Our distinguished alumni are the result of sheer hard work of our dedicated staff.

We, at R.S., explore the possibilities in every individual child, hone their skills and make them capable in pursuits of worthy goals in the service of nation and humanity. We follow a joyful, experience-based learning system wherein every child is encouraged to participate whole-heartedly. We empower our children in such a manner that they act as representatives of a meaningful and value-based society.

The school is open to the feedback and suggestions from the parents. We, at R.S., look forward to a long association with you. I cordially invite you to be a part of this incredible platform to share with us your experiences and perceptions on education of modern times. So let us spread the quintessence of knowledge together, and make a difference in the lives of our children who would take our country to the new heights.

The Shared Conviction

Read the two messages together

Stripped of the formal phrasing, both letters are asking for the same thing: a child who can compete anywhere, and behave well everywhere.

Learning that travels

Lessons are tied to real-life experience so that knowledge becomes usable judgement, in the classroom and outside it.

Skills for a global market

Digital competence, science and language, so that a student from Model Town can compete in any classroom anywhere.

A sound value system

The Vedic values the school was founded on — integrity, discipline, simplicity and service — taught deliberately, not assumed.

A word for parents Both messages end in an invitation. The school asks parents to attend the Parent–Teacher Meetings, to read the diary, and to speak with the class in-charge before concerns become grievances. It is the single easiest way to strengthen everything described above.
