Overview
How admission works here
Admission is open from Nursery through Class XII. The procedure differs by stage: the youngest children are admitted on the basis of interaction and readiness, the high classes through an entrance test, and the senior secondary classes through a combination of pre-board performance, a written entrance test and an interaction with both parents.
The final decision of admission is reserved, and the discretion for admission tests lies with the Principal, subject to the availability of seats in the various streams.
- Forms are available at the school office during working hours
- Bring the original birth certificate and School Leaving Certificate for verification
- Ensure there is no discrepancy in names across documents
- Admission to Class XI from April is provisional until the Class X board result

Before You Submit
Five things that catch families out
Small details that delay an admission far more often than they should.
Names must match on every document
Ensure there is no discrepancy in the name of the child as well as of his/her parents on all documents. A mismatch between the birth certificate, the Aadhar card and the School Leaving Certificate is the single most common reason a file is sent back.
The School Leaving Certificate comes from e-Punjab
The School Leaving Certificate is issued through e-Punjab and is compulsory for all high classes, and specifically for admission to U.K.G. Request it in advance, because it takes time to be generated after the school uploads the result.
Photographs are counted, not estimated
Three coloured passport-size photographs of the child and three with the parents are required at the nursery stage and for the high classes. For senior secondary, one photograph of the child and one of the child with parents are mandatory.
Keep the originals with you
Photocopies are attached with the form, but the original birth certificate and the original School Leaving Certificate must be produced at the time of admission for verification.
Class XI admission from April is provisional
Regular admission to Class XI is granted only after the declaration of the Class X board result, subject to the student securing at least 60% marks. Seats in each stream are limited, and the final decision of admission rests with the Principal.
There is no transport facility Parents must pick up and drop off their children. Students may bring bicycles; gearless two-wheelers are allowed for girl students who hold a driving licence. Bringing a four-wheeler will result in the vehicle being confiscated. Full details are in the Rules & Guidelines.
